Getting ready for Halloween? Want to have a little fun before the holiday?
Join the Philly furs as we gather at the Boo at the Zoo this October!
All are welcome to this event!
We will be gathering at around 11:30 AM in front of the zoo. Once everyone has arrived, we will be heading in to the Philly Zoo at around noon time. The gathering is from 12 noon until 4 pm on October 23rd.
Suiters are welcome!
This event at the zoo is a costume party! So, don’t have a suit? Fear not! Dress up in an appropriete, crowd friendly costume if you choose too. Bring friends, family, and kids! All are welcome to come to the zoo for this fur meet.

How much?: cost is for general zoo admission! The party inside (treats, tricks and games) are included with admission.

What: "Witch in the Wall" Children's Scavenger Hunt

This is the third year that the Aspinwall Civic Association is offering this "spooky, silly scavenger hunt" for children and their parents around the local neighborhood. Local fursuiters have participated since it's inception in 2008. Furry costumers have been a hit along the route and the participants look forward to seeing us every year.
Figured I'd go ahead and post this here as well to see if anyone will bite. ^^;
So a fur in my area had began to think that it was a good idea to try and start assembling furmeets for Central PA since there seems to be ones on either side of the state, but not here. So I got a chance to talk to him today and we're planning on trying to get other furs to meet us as Trindle Bowl for RocknBowling on October 29th. http://www.trindlebowl.net/1.asp

Each year Sil and I go up to fire station #2 to hand out our candy to the local kids and it's been a great time. Trick-or-Treating runs usually from 5-7pm and then the Borough has a Halloween Party with costume judging followed by a short dance after from 7:30 until about 9pm. I'd like to invite any of the local costumers and fursuiters to join us for a fun and interactive evening. Please consider augmenting our treats and bring some snacks of your own to hand out. We get about 30 kids that come by.

This Saturday, Nov 6th, we'll be (watching) learning "How to Train your Dragon" at my castle in Piscataway, NJ!
Snacks provided, but you are welcome to bring more

Welcome furries to the EasternFursMeet!
Our very first meet will be held at the Limerick Bowling Ally on Nov 13th. And yes, fursuits are welcome. In fact the only rules the ally gave us were no outside food or beer. As of right now we have two lanes reserved at 5pm and have 8 spaces open. If we get enough interest before Nov 6th we can reserve more lanes and if we get more then 20 we can get a group rate discount. It is $2.50 a game and $3 for shoe rental, so make sure you have enough money on hand.

Fursuiters and handers are needed to participate. The parade is about 8 blocks long (1 mile) through the residential and commercial streets in town. Light-up night continues after the parade is over and the Activity Committee is going to ask the local businesses if she can "station" a costumer or two, with a handler, in various locations as a way to help draw interest and to allow photo opportunities. There are fireworks scheduled also. I'll say up front that Sil and I will be in Chicago at MFF that weekend, however, just because I'm not there doesn't mean that a group can't participate. This is a fabulous opportunity to put our best paw forward!

Greetings there if you want to do something different I need to get a head count of furs so I know how many would like to have Thanksgiving with other furs instead of having it with family. Some of you might be attending M.F.F and Thanksgiving is that Thurs after MFF is over and I'm gonna have it around dinner time that Sat 27th around 6pm. So if your coming let me know so I know what size turkey to get. Were gonna have: Turkey, Filling, Mashed potatoes, Corn, peas, gravy, and for dessert pumpkin pie w/whip cream If u do come u might have to bring your own place setting, possible chair, and u can bring other stuff to eat if u wish. Lessons on how to battle your mate's evil exes!
Friday night, December 10th at 7pm we'll be having an important Workshop on How to Battle Your Mate's Evil Exes!
This is something the majority of folks will have, or have had, to deal with when finding a mate. However, when your mate's Evil Exes decide to team up and form a league whose mission is to control your mate's love life, you have to step up your game and defeat them.
During the workshop, pizza and/or Chinese will be delivered.
Since this lesson is so important, we'll be having a special guest speaker! Scott Pilgrim, the best fighter in the province of Toronto, Canada, will be coming in to teach us the importance of fighting Evil Exes for the right reasons and sharing his own personal experience!
