right, so, you know the "active forum topics" thing? i find it somewhat bum-ish that the "more" button just leads to the forum page. i think it would be superfly if it led to, like, a ranking of the most active forums, sort of like the thing itself, but bigger(hence the term "more"). yeeeeesssss??

haha, it's sorta bad when the designer doesnt know how to get around on his own site...
it's not a page, it's a widgety module thingy. all the way up on the top of the page, then all the way to the right, then just below the search bar, there's a list of 5 threads with the header "active forum topics".

It's more like, "I run half a dozen sites, and can't keep every aspect of every site in my brain". I appreciate the compliment, but really, my brain just isn't that big. 
Anyway, I looked at that block, and I see what you're saying.
Unfortunately, that's part of Drupal Core, and I'm not going to mess with that. But I'm certain there are modules out there that show statistics on posting and whatnot. I'm open to suggestions.

How did you work out that he put the 9,999th post?
the stuff up in the URL said so 
for instance, if you were to type "http://www.pa-furry.org/node/1366/moar#comment-10005"
then it would bring you to this exact comment. because it's node 1366(which i believe means it's the 1,366th thread on this site), which is titled "moar", and i think # usually means "okay, it's this far down the page" and then the word comment(signifying the obvious) and the number 10005, the exact number of this comment.
