About my furriness; I've always enjoyed cartoons and such, but I've been drawing anthro art on and off through high school (that was a long time ago... about six years?) I've only had a fursona for a year or so, though. My first furry identity was a black rabbit, but she quickly turned into a kestral, and then an unnamed wolf. Lokii, my current and strongest fursona, is a wolfaun: as Capricorn (my zodiac sign) is a sea goat, Lokii is also a goat wolf. It is difficult to explain entirely, since I don't consider myself to be a half-and-half-hybrid, but both animals... hence the creation of the wolfaun! :3
The name "Lokii" is a tribute to the Norse god Loki, the trickster, who is a shapeshifter and is the father of Fenrir and Sleipnir. (Norse mythology lesson, you can has it.)
As far as furry communities go, I am a member of the forums at Furtopia. I ran into Ironwolf, Aowacc, and Wolvenokami IRL and they said they met here on PA Furry. Naturally, I had to check it out.
I've been to one convention, Otakon '10, and plan on going to more in the future. I will likely be going to New England Webcomics Weekend this year, as well as Anthrocon and Otakon again next year. Perhaps we can get a group together.

Seems like there's quite the community of furries at Shippensburg. Figures that this happens some years after my younger sister graduated. 
[Edit: Before I forget, there's also FurFright in October. I've been to that convention for the last few years and had a bit of fun there. Its size is around 800-900. ]

Um, I've been to no conventions, but as soon as I got into the fandom, my mom wanted to get into some as soon as possible. So happy to have a family supportive of Furries. I draw Furries, and like to draw other people's fursonas and suits and am in the process of making my own. I have no set fursona, but a mainstream of characters that I like to draw better than all the rest.
