Yep. Even with the hurricane being a couple of hundred miles off shore, you're going to see higher waves and a stronger undertow.

I took that pic during a trip to Seaside Heights last year, when the exact same thing was going on, there was a hurricane just a few hundred miles off shore.

My brother was in OBX last week and said the riptides had claimed several lives the week before he was there. Be very careful use your brain. The High should...keep the hurricane away from the coast at least a little.

Stupid weather. Yea sadly I did not go today. Oh well guess I just be lazy on my day off and lay around in PJ's and do nothing hahaha lol it was worth a try. Well if anyone ever wants to hang out some time hit me up

A local firefighter stopped at the pizza shop before going to Ocean city. I bet him and his friends will have the beach to them selfs mostly.
