Well, here's the deal... I regret to say that I am not going to be able to go through with this furmeet, either.  Long story short, my uncle is a long-time smoker who was misdiagnosed with lung cancer several years ago.  Surgeons cut out a third of his lung, which severely compromised his health and ability to breathe...

About a week ago my uncle was admitted to the hospital because he couldn't breathe, and has since made very little progress.  As a result, I will not be attending the Applefest furmeet that I had planned for October 2nd.  I apologize for the short notice, but I do not want to be out in-suit in the middle of a festival, in the event that my uncle's health takes a turn for the worst.

I apologize for such short notice, but I'd rather be around to support and be with my family in case something bad happens...
