I have never been to a furry convention and I was wondering if Fur The 'More Or if Anthrocon would be the best to go to as a first con experience. I am also wondering what kind of things there are to do at a con I have looked at youtube, anthrocon and fur the 'more sites but I want to know from peoples personal experences. Thanks.

The first con I went to was AC. It was a bit cumbersome the first year because we had no idea where we were going and parking in Pittsburgh can be either really expensive or far away from where your hotel is. I'd say fur the more would be the better first experience, but it was a lot more fun at AC. In terms of things to do there is lots. There is the dealers deal, along side the NSFW area where you can bid on art.

Yeah, I agree that AC might be a little overwhelming at first.  But it all depends where you might know more people.  That's the key to a good furry con is having people you can hang out with.  I really do like Furthemore as well, while AC is just... AC, haha.

It really depends on your personal comfort level for crowds.  People go to AC because just about everyone is there, both the public and the dealers.  However, for some that may be an overwhelming experience.  AC was my first furry convention, but I'd attended San Diego Comic Con for years so attending a much smaller (by comparison to SDCC) furry con was a refreshing change of pace.  Some people prefer the smaller conventions because they are more intimate and less hectic.  They find they have more time to relax and enjoy hanging out with their friends because cruising the dealer room doesn't take several hours.  ;P

Good luck!
