Tried putting this up for Events but it was removed without notice, presumably it didn't meet requirements or there was something planned to go there, or whatever other reason.

I'd like to get some folks out to Kennywood on Saturday, September 2nd.  Park opens at 10:30 AM and I think it's their last day of normal operation for the season.  It's been a long time since I knew of a good trip there, the last couple haven't had a turnout.

Admission for a single day ticket lists for 48 dollars on www.kennywood.com but many Giant Eagle stores (like my local one in Bridgeville) offer them for 33 dollars with a store card; these can be had for a quick/free signup if you haven't got one.

I'm looking for interest in this, at least a handful of people.  Plan is to meet at the park gates when then open and to stay until closing, which is generally 10 PM or after, depending on what the park management decides.

Please post here if you're down for this, or private message me or text to 412-583-8520 if you have questions.  Cheers, folks~

Kennywood has a "No costumes" policy (see "Halloween style attire" and also "Dress for Safety"). We've checked with them on this several times over the years, and they don't budge. It's part safety issue with regard to the rides and part safety issue for the workers and the other guests (their words).
