Good day, evening, or night. I was wondering if anyone would like to talk about past, current. or soon to be travels. And if so tell a little bit about them. ^^ If you spent a vacation in Japan or got lost on some dirt road ending up some where you did not know about tell everyone a little bit about it. ^^ From the smallest trips to the biggest adventures. =3 If this gets picked to be front paged much of the following details will be cut short. However I digress. As a example I will detail a little bit about one place I traveled to in my past. Alamogordo, New Mexico. Being there was a real eye opener for someone like me who lived most of their life near creeks, rivers, trees, and mountains. There the land is all flat, dusty, dry, and hot all year long. As when I was able to be barefoot on the terrain in the east coast I could not there. Little prickers nicknamed Goat Heads are abundant there and can prick your feet if you have no Foot wear. The land is very flat and shade very little. Not much plant life. Water is a bit scarce. The population a mix match of cultures but not like that of the east coast or central zones at all. I could give a example of this but I shall pass that up. Now, as for any area you will always have the good and bad side of people. My experience was mostly with the bad side of people there so I will skip detailing that bit. As for my stay there all I could say is I learned to never walk bare foot there especially on the roads "The heat can go up to 115 F and higher. The temp is almost 1.5x that on the roads and the heat that the roads have collected is enough to cause heat blisters on your feet." And second lesson was mostly desert survival.
