Join with us as we take in the festivities and revel in the events of Pittsburgh's First Night 2008 Celebrations and howl in the New Year with fireworks and furiends!

Furiends old and new are welcome to take part in this Furry Gathering which is fast becoming a holiday favorite full of cozy warmth and friendly cheer.

Held on the coat tails of this fantastic event, now in its eleventh year, "First Night Pittsburgh is a community- and family-oriented, alcohol-free celebration of the arts. Revelers enjoy - and in some cases, join in - the multiple, simultaneous and continuous performances of dance, music, song, mime, story telling, theater, poetry, film, video and multi-media presentations."

That’s only the beginning! There’s much, much more to see and do at this the last Western PA Furry event of 2007 and the first of 2008!

A "First Night" Button is your ticket into all the events of the evening. Buttons are available for $8 at the Box Office at Theater Square and at participating Giant Eagle stores beginning in December. Giant Eagle Advantage Card holders receive $1 off when purchasing buttons at participating Giant Eagle locations. In the past, Silaria and I have purchased buttons and picked up vouchers for the limited seating events for folks. We are willing to do that again this year also. See us and give us $8 for each button, or PayPal us $8.50 to our "events @ swiftsden.net" account. DEADLINE for us to pick up your buttons and vouchers is December 19th. Vouchers for limited seating events went very quickly last year so there's no guarantee we'll be able to accommodate everyone whether you make the deadline or not.
