I *really* want to get into making modkits for furries on Second Life, but I need templates or textures! The free grid texture is really hard to work with.

I have the Curious Moufette mod templates - that's the kind of thing I'm looking for. I also have the Uchi Felis head textures, but they aren't the best quality.

Tips are also very very welcome!

If anyone can help me out here, it'd be much appreciated!

Are they in UV form?

If you do not mind can you send a copy of a Uchi Felis head texture. I would like to see what it looks like.

UV form as in shadow maps? Yes, with extra shading for whiskers and the like, if you're asking about the Moufette mod kit textures that Uchi put out.

The Uchi Cat texture isn't as pure white as the default cat, but it'd pretty close. I love how he put the textues for *everything* onto one single image. Very awesome~

Anyway. I'll be emailing it to you later on; it's on my external HD and I don't have access to it until later. :3

This is a cool topic, and is worth of a front page.

Sorry I got distracted. It is hard to tell where it all goes.

Does it look like this?

I need to finish my wolf model, and find some decent fur texturing.

Yup, that's the Felis.

Uchi is *very* texture-efficient. All the textures for the Felis are on one single texture - nose, head, etc. He does that with a lot of his other avs as well. Helps things load a *lot* quicker.

I also have the Moufette mod kit if you're interested in seeing that. Uchi did that a bit different, using the textures on separate images, but it's a godsend for new modders.

I am trying to figure out, if not reverse engineer the UV's. I am sure they are low poly models or tri's.

I am working on a Gingerbread man warrior. I think it will help me figure out a lot of things.
