Hey guys! I was inspired to sign up for this site when I ran across it on the Delaware page. Well, I go to school at the University of Delaware, but I'm from Ephrata, Pennsylvania. Obviously, I never really "posted" per-say before a few days ago on any sort of site, but I decided to take a leap, and maybe try and go to a few of these events. I ended up going to Furbowl 23, and that was really fun. Ask me about it, and I'll go more into it -- kind of a culture shock for me. I've played the piano for quite a long time 11+ years, the guitar for about 2 years, and I enjoy video games and books as much as the next person. I found the "fandom" completely by accident. And it wasn't through the conventional method of watching Robin Hood/Lion King, geeking out and coming straight here. No, it was the third most common way. Can you say Starfox Adventures? I'm just starting to get into the art/drawing portion, and considering that I only started drawing (pretty much anything) within the last few months, I think I'm doing pretty good! ^_^ Obviously, you can check out my Deviantart page/my FA page for stuff that I forget to upload to other sites, but my profile pic's temporarily what my Fursona might be. Well, not actually my fursona, but more like an "Alter-Furgo" (Alter-ego for furs). Speak of which, it's currently in the works, and most likely will be a Foxcat/Catfox -- considering I don't really know if there's a difference, I might just pick one and get it started. Well, again, you can always check the other sites for stuff I've left out (and believe me, I probably have) and definitely stay classy, Pennsylvania! Ah yes, and I love any sort of seafood -- so when Giza said something about the soup of the day being New England Clam Chowder, I chuckled a little. |

Wow, thank you all -- you're just as nice as the furries I met over at the Delaware sites. After all of these years, it's nice to meet some people sharing similar interests.
And I absolutely love that winter photo. I'm in the process of going through the few hundred photos I've taken and cropping, editing, etc. It's just taking forever to get around to. Especially because I'm now a new member of both the PA fur site and the DE site.

I'd like to thank the rest of you (Phantom, Giz, Swift) for the kind welcome.
Yeah, I've been kind-of busy and distracted, but I'm bookmarking the PA site, so this time, whenever I go on the Furst State, I come here as well. It'll keep me busier.
I think this week has definately been one of my furriest. Saturday was Furbowl 23, Wednesday was hanging out with a few new fur-friends, and yesterday was sledding with Inu-Desu, Reaux, and some more awesome people from the furst state. So yeah, it's been pretty furry, if I do say so myseelf.
