In my past forum experiences I've noticed that a lot of lusers will post tons of senseless one-line posts just to get their post-count (or in this case, their points) up high. There wasn't even anything rewarding for doing so, except saying "I've got more experience than j0000." And for spamming the boards.

Points can be earned for any of the following:
- Creating a new forum topic
- Posting a comment on a forum topic
- Posting a comment on a page
- Moderating a comment (for anyone who might have moderator privs)
good; though it is a form of hierarchy, however absurd it may appear to be. Quality control is in order, and I'm glad to see you're on it^^

Dungeons and Dragons?
Oh you young kids, and lack of bad cinema. Its a reference to an early Tom Hanks movie. Its called Mazes and Monsters, it was basically a warning about how dangerous Dungeons and dragons was, and how we will all go insane and blur the lines of fantasy and reality if we play it. Its a good movie for a laugh.

Points are a way to keep track of user activity. If you visit the userpoints page, it will tell you how many points each user has.
In the future, I may consult that page to see who is the most active and select potential moderators from that list.
