and it's not drama!

i wanted to know if any furs, especially fomr the philadelphia area, would be interested in starting...a local fursuiting/volounteer group with...me? x.x

i've been wanting to do something like this for a while now, as i'm sure i won't be able to go to any cons in the near future due to the money half of things. i've always wanted to volounteer at things and such, exspecially in costume, and the meets that have been happening haven't been attendable for me.

i've finally finished my Morbyd partial and plan on making my November 'suit in the winter. it might even be a fullsuit! in this group, like all other furgroups, suits will not be a necessity. there's always places for spotters, photographers, filmers and friends!

there would be small, usual things like movie meets, movie-making meets, picnics, art gatherings, walkarounds, stuff like that. just things to chill and relate and such.

i trust you guys to say this: i'm only 15 right now, and i know a bunch of you are much older so this will probably get little attention now. but i'm hoping there's a good number of you around that age. i'm already trying to start the group with a couple of friends, so if this doesn't "launch" or anything, i'd be coool dumbing around with my best buds! i'd just really like to meet you guys!

also, as nothing's started, there's no real "staff" or anything. if any of you are experienced in staffing groups/events like this, i'd love to talk to you and/or recieve some advice.

EDIT: this unnamed group now has 8 members from my school, between the ages of 13 and 18, with main interests including furry, anime, crafts and music. it's a nice little group. for the events i'm planning, i wouldn't need 20-something people anyhows. but it's always open to anyone who wants to join (i'll still be going around to see if people want to join anyhow)!
