so im curious do we have any DIY experts here? any repair bots? And if so what can you repair? ANd yes food counts since you "fix" it.
at the moment nothing just thought it be a nice idea to have a thread about what people can fix. speaking of which can you lend some advice on replacing the cabin air filter for a 08 hyundai sonata?
A video is worth a quadrillion words. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHkKlp2g3-w
I can do it for you, if you'd like. If you do it, be VERY careful about bending the glove compartment panels.
Er. What?
I can fix any amount of mechanical defects, tow trucks, peanut butter and jelly, a stiff drink, a can fix a leaky faucet. just to name a few..
I am a bit of a hardware wolf, with computers.
As far as cars and trucks, it is based upon how $ and how bad I don't want to do it. I have done a very long waterpump install on a toyota tercel, after my friend said it would be about $200 to $300 dollars.
(is drunk)
I can fix a hole in your pocket or a split seam of the back of your pants (right Forzii?
) Also hem pants or skirts, take in the waist, etc.
WolfFort, it was more than twice that much to replace the water pump on my van a few years ago! Apparently on the Safari it is very difficult to get to, requiring a lot of dismantling before you even get to the part that needs to be fixed!
I'm more a jack of all trades, master of none.
I'm a driveway mechanic.
I can weld, but not very well.
I know my way around a computer (hardware and a little bit of programming), electronics, and wiringing in general.
I can modify/upgrade/fix/repair airsoft guns.
I know how to use a needle and thread.
I can handle basic woodwork.
I have a certain someone's "Google Problem" that needs to be fixed (or so he thinks):

i just "fixed" a new rescipie i call phoenix bites (tsuki calls it regurgatated pheonix ) its basicly a spicy chicken tender that gets hotter as you eat it ending with a flash of heat as a after taste
whats strange is thepeppers make the batter green, red or orenge depending on there color :nervepinch:
I can fix a lot of things, and will attempt to fix stuff that I can't given enough proding or alcohol. Cars, computers, sewing, food, engineering solutions to stuff, making costumes, props, whichever. I love a good challenge!
same as P87NE, I do a little bit of everything. Basic car maintenance, I can run a sewing machine, computer hardware, super basic plumbing stuff, drywall and plaster, I'm a pretty good painter, I can fix some good food or a drink, a red-ringed x-box, a broken turntable, the list goes on. I'm not super amazing at any of them, but I make stuff work.

I'm Lil' Miss Fix-it. I was the go-to gal for everything at my last job and among my friends. What were you looking for?
