Art will be hosting a massage party at the Creatively Named Furry House. She will be offering massages (rates below) and the house will also be open to anyone who wants to come and hang out. The party will be 18+ and while we're not going to be supplying any liquor, you're welcome to bring your own (21+ to drink, please!). Also, if you intend to get a massage, you need to wait until you're done to start drinking (if anything shows up).
Art is a certified massage therapist, so this is guaranteed to be awesome (or 20% cooler, as the case may be!)! EDIT: You're welcome to bring crafts and art supplies with you if you'd like, but please keep in mind that we have no furniture in our living room (still! D= ). Anything that you bring should be small and able to be worked on while you sit on the floor. |
Thank you to everyone who showed up at the massage party. Hope you enjoyed your massage if you got one, or the company if you didn't. The party was quite a success. Art was pleased with the results, and we were quite impressed with the rather mellow party (and the random fun to be had watching old school MLP!).
I have other obligations for Saturday afternoon already, but I'll try to swing by after I wrap things up with those. 
i texted Art, i was worried she would be booked but not too many replies on the thread here.
I'm feeling like i'd like a massage from her as well, if my yote can make it... i'll pay for one for him too ^^
As an update, I have to work that Saturday. So I'm not going to be arriving until around 9pm. Hopefully art won't be out of commission by then, but I'll still be over for the visit.
i might stop by after work that night. more hanging out than getting a back rub

While you may have magical hooves, there is a reason we specified that Art is a Certified Massage Therapist. The party is open for all to attend, but she is offering a professional service to those who are able to pay her.
We have a furry who needs the money and is able to do something to earn it. It's not fair for the rest of us to take away her earning potential at this event.
I offically have accepted the quest to attend, I haven't had a massage in forever and I need one. Good thing I get paid the Friday before.
So... It's getting closer to the date... Does Art have any work to do at this party?
I'll be there! Not sure yet what time, so I should deliver that bottle of grapeseed oil before the event, for those who will need it before I get there.
Ah, can't wait to get a good massage....especially my feet and calves!! (and of course, the old back and shoulders.)

It was a lovely, mellow time, great to see people. And the massage! Art is amazing. Let's keep on supporting her, because a talent like that with the healing power of touch is a great thing.
