Philly fur vet derp says hi
Not particularly new to the fandom, just finally gave in to Giza's nagging about registering
I usually go by Bier or Bierzun, though more and more folks know me by the name Scrubs. I'm originally from western PA, though currently serving my time melting my brain as a veterinary student in West Philly. I tend to live a busy life outside of the summer months, but I try my best to keep an ear to the ground for local events and such. (If you give me an exuse to break from studying, I will likely jump at it) I tend to be pretty easy-going (at least outside of finals) so don't hesitate to say hi or what not!
I stumbled my way into furry through various artists online, as well as the talents of a former acquiantance. Never really branched out into the fandom until my first trip to AC three years ago. Since then, I've been meeting awesome people left and right. It's hard to put my finger on one thing that keeps me interested in furry. I love the array of talents we bring, the suiting, and of course, the people! Nowadays I go to what cons my schedule allows, favorites being AC, FurFright, and RMFC. I also started suiting last year and it's been a blast. Look for a happy-go-derpy GSD-lookin' doggy +/- blue scrubs if you're at the above cons or a furry event in Philadelphia.
Unfortunately, I'm a little on the boring side hobby-wise. When capable of forming coherent thoughts, I may pen down a couple ideas (either writing or drawing), but nothing particularly amazing. Shockingly, I have quite the interest in animals big and small (favorites being canines and the scaly critters). Not that huge a fan of the large-animal side of things. I also likes me some guns (especially the older military surplus stuff), but I'm not anywhere near fanatic about them. I understand people may have strong feelings about them, and I more than respect that =)
That's about all I can think of at the moment. I tend to be terrible at talking about myself, so feel free to chat with me sometime if I missed something or you want to know anything else!
PS: Don't forget to spay and neuter your animals!
