Hm... Where to start...
I guess I can start by saying my name is Drake. I was born and raised in France. I've lived here for 21 years now. I have some interests, like Sports, Games, Food, Dragons, and Cuddling! (I am a very cuddly Dragon! ^^")
Above all though, spending time with friends is what I enjoy the most. :3 As well as cuddles.
I'm currently studying in Software Development. This will be my last year of study before I head out for the U.S. I'm also a future webmaster, and I intend to make my own website oncefinish to learn javascript. I already know html, php and mysql. After that, I will just need to find a Web Designer. ^^"
I've been a part of the Furry Fandom for... almost 3 years now. I've been to a lot of conventions here in France, but I stopped going because I noticed I really didn't feel welcome there. Sort of the reason why I'm looking to move.
I can be quite shy, and I have a few social issues. That's besides the point though. I still intend to make some friends here none the less.
Well, I hope to befriend some of you before I head to Pennsylvania. It would make moving there all the less scarier for me. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! I may be shy, but I am a very honest person, and can say anything!

I may have missed it, but what part of the state to you plan on moving to?
Also, PROTIP from a Software Engineer who's been doing it for 13 years: learn frameworks! Drupal is a good one to start with, as is jQuery. (I use both to power this website)
Additional good things to check out are jQuery UI and node.js. Especially node.js. I use it at $WORK, and it's turning the industry on its head.

If they speak slowly and articulating very well with me, I should be fine ^^" anyway, I think I should get used quickly if I hear people speaking English everywhere.
haha its like a reflex..if you ask someone to repeat themself, theres a good chance theyre just going to say it louder (and wont know what articulate means :> )
