The Western PA Furry Weekend is being held the weekend of, October 1-3, 2010, at the Comfort Inn Pittsburgh North and Aspinwall Fireman's Park, just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This year's Featured Artist is Flanowa James Hoppscotter III. It's a medium sized fur meet that draws around 100 attendees from Pennsylvania, the adjoining states and Canada. The event takes place indoors and out, securing hotel function space for Friday and Saturday evening activities and a park and pavilion for Saturday's "Family Picnic" setting and charity raffle. It boasts a relaxing environment with just enough programming to give folks things to do. Registration opens on May 1, 2010. Early Bird Registration is $15 until July 1, then Pre-registration goes up to $20. Supporter level registration is available through the end of pre-registration for $40. At the door registration is $25 for a Basic Registration and $40 for Supporter. Upgrades to Supporter level will also be available at the door this year. |
