The room has been rented! Thank you all for looking.

I have for rent a cosey (8' x 11'6") bedroom in my home near Downtown Pittsburgh. It is on a quiet, dead-end street in Knoxville (Near Mt. Oliver). The room is unfurnished except for a chest of drawers and W/W carpet. (Though in the pictures there's an air mattress, that's for guests)

There is direct access to the 44 and 54 bus lines and about a 1 mile walk to the South Hills Junction transit station, with stops for the BLLB, BLSV. RED & SL light rail lines as well as the 39, 40, 41, 43, 48, Y1, Y45, Y46, Y47 & Y49 bus lines. (The 44 and 54 also go to SHJ)

If you drive a car, there is easy access to Rt. 51 near the Liberty Tunnels, and the Liberty Bridge (Without going through the tunnel! Commuting is a breeze) along with easy access to the South Side and about a 15-20 minute commute to Oakland.

Rent is $300/mo, + your share of the utilities. (Split 4 ways). Included with your rent is access to the common areas of the house and use of the home entertainment system (42" LCD HD TV, 7.1 Surround system, Media PC & PS3), Washer & Dryer, Kitchen, etc.

The house itself is an older 4 Bed / 1.5 Bath with hardwood floors throughout. It has a Large, bright, open downstairs with a Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen, and a basement with a Washer & Dryer and lots of room for storage.

There are Three occupants; myself, Thrash Bear and Landis. They are in the other two 2nd floor bedrooms, and I live on the third floor.

I'm a pretty laid-back landlord - my only rules are: Clean up after yourself, respect the other residents (of both the house and neighborhood), bring nothing illegal into the house, and pay your rent on time.

If you're interested, shoot me a message either here, Twitter or by email to lildobe (at) lildobe.net and we can arrange for you to see it.

If that room is open closer to May, I'll really take you up on that offer. I just need to know if there is a CoGo's down there for me to transfer to.

It's in the ad...  $300/mo + 1/4 of the utilities.

Can you list the address for it? So that I can see where exactly it is on a map. Is it near a bus line that goes to Pittsburgh University?

It is - I don't want to put the exact address on the web - but it's near the intersection of Zara St and Georga Ave.

Are you looking for a deposit and the first months rent? How long would the rent be for? A year? Also, do you mean it is near a bus that goes to Pitt University?

It's about a 3-block/half-mile walk to the 54 bus route, which goes directly to oakland.

I would prefer a deposit and first-month's rent, though we can negotiate something if you can't do that. Lease terms are flexable.

I would have no problem paying rent and a deposit. The lease would be for at least a year. Is the place available next month to move in if I pay?

Well, I just got a job at Dollar Tree in Leetsdale but the problem is that I am only going to get 8 to 20 hours a week until the holidays and I am only getting paid minimum wage. I take the bus which is why I need a bus that goes into downtown so I can take the 14 to work. This is my first job in over three years and I am currently staying with that one woman who works at Fernando's, Robin and her girl friend but they are moving out down to Florida in the beginning of next month. They are going to let me stay at that apartment until the landlord issues the court order for me to leave. But once I have to leave, I will become homeless again and if I do not find another place, I can lose my job at Dollar Tree.

I know this may be a long shot but if consider letting me move in, I can help with whatever rent I can produce and work as many hours I can at Dollar Tree while I look for a second job and I can help around the house. I am really good with helping around the house and Forzii, Drage and Sparky can vouch for me since I stayed with them a few weeks around Anthrocon last month. I clean up after myself and I am very social. I do not do drugs or do anything illegal either.

I do not know if you guys will consider me but I really want to keep this job and I have not seen any other furs have room I can stay at lately.
