My real name is James, but Dr. Jekyll or Jekyll or 'hey you' seems to work just fine. I'm a fairly recent transplant to Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh. I was previously a researcher in Little Rock, AR, but took a neurobiology post doc position at Pitt. I am a coyote and the wily coyote stereotype tends to apply since the area of research I specialize in (electrophysiology) requires a lot of jerry rigging and tinkering.
As far as hobbies go, I'm a bit of a jack of trades. I have tried a little bit of everything woodworking, metalworking, leather, sewing etc. I mainly stick with woodworking though. I'm finally starting to get back into camping and have started exploring the local state forrests. I've been in the furry community for about 8 years now and have attended a few cons. Anyway, I'm mostly interested in meeting new people and finding a few local friends.
